WHAT CAUSES EYE BAGS?
The formation of dark circles and under eye bags are part and parcel of the aging process, with many individuals over the age of 20 experiencing these blemishes at least once. There are many reasons for this, including not getting sufficient sleep and exercise, as well as a diet heavy in salt. This results in skin beneath your eyes being stretched out, leading to dark circles and eye bags forming. In addition, the muscles and ligaments holding facial fat in its place will also become weaker as you get older, resulting in the sagging that makes the fat appear more pronounced below the eyes.

HOW IT WORKS
Dermal fillers are an effective anti-aging technique, with no down time necessary as well as producing natural-looking results in a short amount of time.
Adding volume to the skin beneath your eyes, the hyaluronic acid fillers also boost the level of fresh collagen and elastin being produced. As you get older, the reserves of natural hyaluronic acid in your body begins to break down, but this can be replaced by dermal fillers. In addition to reducing eye bags and dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes will also be less visible. A small amount of dermal fillers is all that is necessary to make a visible change.
Just like a non-surgical facelift, dermal fillers can be used on its own or in a combination with other facelift injections. However, your doctor will suggest the best method of treatment to get optimum results. This treatment is suitable for all skin types and there is no risk of allergies – this is because hyaluronic is naturally produced in your body.
Able to last for over a year, dermal fillers are long-lasting but this may vary depending on your condition. Your body will eventually break down hyaluronic acid and absorb it, so the effects of dermal fillers are not permanent. This also means there is no need to worry about keeping up a look that is not satisfactory if the technique does not work out for you.
You should be able to get back to your daily activities as soon as the treatment is finished without any trouble. Some minor swelling, redness or bruising may be visible, but this can be hidden easily with mineral make-up.
