WHAT CAUSES DULL SKIN?

Using a new form of technology called Fractional Laser Resurfacing (Lux1540, non-ablative), dull skin is treatable. It makes use of laser energy micro beams to break through and penetrate skin tissue, which causes newer and healthier skin to grow over the old layer of skin in the outlined treatment area.

The results of this treatment are comparable to that of ablative laser resurfacing or deep chemical peels, but it is not as uncomfortable and does not come with downtime either. As skin begins to heal, the new skin layer will appear more radiant and glowing compared to the older, duller layer. Fractional Laser Resurfacing does not leave wounds on your skin, and you can even apply makeup as soon as the treatment is completed.

HOW OFTEN?

Treatments are usually spaced about 1-4 weeks apart, for a total of 4-5 treatments. However, this number may vary depending on your particular condition and skin, and your doctor will discuss this with you. In addition, facials and skin products should also be used to maintain a good skincare regime to maintain your glowing and radiant skin.
