HOW IT WORKS

Stimulating collagen formation, Derma Veil is injectable and is designed to reduce skin blemishes due to the aging process, sickness or overexposure to the sun. It helps to improve your skin’s hydration and flexibility, restoring volume and diminishing skin imperfections such as scars and wrinkles.

Derma Veil is made from bioabsorbable and biodegradable tissue reconstructive material and is also a non-toxic, lyophilised low viscosity product used to reinforce skin and other soft tissue. It is also a supplement that occupies space for the inter-cellular matrix of connective tissue.

Incorporated as a hydrophilic matrix, Derma Veil is a single use injectable device. Its active principal is made from glycolic acid (GA) bonded to polylactic acid’s (PLA) polymeric column, with both dispersed homogenously throughout. The rate of release is controlled by diffusion, which prolongs the sustained repairing process through the slow dissolution of the compound.

Derma Veil is degraded via hydrolysis and is biocompatible, absorbable and immunologically inactive. This process occurs by water diffusion in the product, first at the amorphous zones which is then followed by hydrolysis, fragmentation of the material before a final, more extensive form of hydrolysis. The waste is then eliminated through the respiratory tract.

This treatment needs a minimum of 2 sessions spaced 3 weeks apart; depending on your condition, a 4^th or 5^th session may be required as well.

Derma Veil is made in the United States, with each production meeting validation requirements set by safety authorities. Both US and European production are done in ISO 9000 laboratories which are approved by the FDA the CE regulatory bodies. All products are submitted for toxicity and sterility testing after validation, before being released for public sale.

Incorporated as a hydrophilic matrix, it is made up of glycolic and polylactic acids. Both of these are immunologically inert, and is absorbable and biocompatible. It is degraded through hydrolysis.

The acid works together in combination to distend the cutaneous tegument, and restores volume to the areas that are depressed. This reduces the amount of wrinkles, creases and mild scars, while improving the skin’s hydration and flexibility.
