Burpees – The Intensive Exercise You Need

Hey guys, I hope you’ve all had a great week so far and that the week will continue to treat you well. For today’s topic, I want to shine the light on burpees. This is a form of exercise that has many benefits both for your body and for your time. Let me explain how.
 
What Is It?
A burpee is an exercise that works many muscle groups in your body, making it one of the more beneficial exercises out there as it gives you a full body workout. You are more likely to develop muscle and gain stamina quickly by including burpees into your workout routine than simply running on the treadmill or lifting weights separately. It can be used as part of circuit training or as a single workout on its own, but be wary of doing it too often and in isolation. Your body will get used to any workout you do, so be sure to vary it up.
 
What Are The Benefits?
There are many benefits that are associated with doing burpees for exercise. As mentioned already, it is a full body workout which ensures that all your muscles get used and develop over time. Your hamstrings, quads, core, glutes, chest and many other parts will be forced into action! However, your muscles are not the only thing that develops. You will find that by regularly performing burpees, your stamina will also begin to increase!
It boosts your endurance faster than most other exercises because it gets your heart pumping fast due to the multiple muscle groups in your body that get worked out. Just try doing as many burpees as you can in a row and you will quickly realise how challenging it can be. But as with all workouts, it will get easier over time!

Your strength should also increase as the workout requires muscles in your legs and your arms to be active to push up and to jump or squat. This is what is known as functional fitness, in that burpees will help you lose weight and become fitter than before, but it also results in better performance for everyday activities. Something as simple as walking up a flight of stairs or carrying in multiple bags of groceries will become a lot easier, and you will notice the difference!
In addition, burpees are easy to perform simply because all you need is a little space at home. There is no need for an expensive gym membership or a personal trainer; once you have got the technique figured out, you just need personal motivation and a little space to get into shape!

But perhaps the best benefit is that you will see the benefits to your stamina, muscle development, weight loss in a much quicker time. By working out multiple muscle groups, you will burn more calories in the same amount of time than if you were to do an exercise that focuses on a specific body part. With added intensity, this also helps extend the calorie burning effect that may even last the entire day!
