Microdermabrasion
Recognised as being more effective than other invasive methods, microdermabrasion uses miniscule grains of crystals to exfoliate the skin’s surface. This helps to slough away the dead skin cells on the surface, revealing a fresher and healthier skin layer underneath. Using a special took, the miniscule grains will be aimed directly at the treatment area which is pre-determined during the consultation session. The grains will scrub the skin, removing the dead skin cells in the process. Unlike regular dermabrasion, this method is not as aggressive or painful and there is no need for any anaesthesia to be applied beforehand. Some studies have even supported regular microdermabrasion sessions, as it is believed to induce your skin into producing newer and healthier skin cells on a regular basis.

Just like microdermabrasion, this method also makes used of a diamond head to remove the dead skin cells on the upper skin layers via buffing. The controlled pressure of a vacuum on the hand piece will pull skin up into a chamber.
